Huai Khum Resort is on the banks of the Mae Kok River, which gives life and beautiful scenery to the people here. There are six groups of hill tribes in the Northern-Thai area. Our resort was built to honor the lives of the nearest of the six tribes กV the Lahu. In Huai Khum Village you can learn about the Lahu culture and how they live. 

The goal is to give you an environment where you can relax and unwind. To meet this goal we first searched for a location that would take our guests as far away from the stress of modern life as possible. After much searching we finally chose a location on the banks of the beautiful Mae-Kok River in pristine Thai forest that has remained unchanged for thousands of years. The surrounding mountains ensure that this location provides the sweetest air, cleanest water and purest soil.

Our homes were designed to provide the comforts and conveniences of modern life in an environmentally friendly manner. Our homes are built from bamboo - the same material used by the local indigenous tribes. Skilled local craftsmen crafted them to provide luxury and privacy. The resort was equipped with facilities that would ensure our guest would enjoy their stay. We have stunning gardens, historical museum, a swimming pool, cultural shows, well equipped bar and gourmet restaurant serving produce from our own organic farm.
